PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Welcome back to Palms Accelerated Learning Academy for the 2023-2024 school year! As the summer break draws to a close, I am thrilled to extend my warmest greetings to all of our returning students and a heartfelt welcome to our new families joining us this academic year. It is with great excitement and anticipation that we embark on this journey together, filled with endless possibilities and new opportunities for growth and success!
As we begin this new school year, my priority is to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. I am committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment where diversity is celebrated, and each individual's unique strengths are recognized. Together, we will continue to shape our "3-Be" culture built on safety, responsibility, and respect, preparing our students not just for academic success but also for becoming compassionate and responsible global citizens.
The Palms staff is committed to preparing your student for college and beyond by equipping them with essential academic and life skills. Through our Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, we will continue to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of learning. I am confident that our AVID program will empower our students to reach their full potential and set them on a path to future success.
This year, we are more committed than ever to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. At Palms, we believe that behavior expectations and a positive school culture are key to creating a safe and respectful environment, where everyone can thrive. PBIS will continue to be at the forefront of our efforts to promote good behavior, social emotional learning, and a sense of community among our students and staff.
I firmly believe that education is a partnership between school and home. To that end, I welcome open communication and active involvement from families in their child's education. Together, we will work hand in hand to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience that addresses the needs and aspirations of each student.
Once again, welcome back to Palms and thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. Here's to an extraordinary year ahead!

Bienvenidos de nuevo a Palms Accelerated Learning Academy para el año escolar 2023-2024! A medida que las vacaciones de verano se acercan a su fin, me complace extender mis más cálidos saludos a todos nuestros estudiantes que regresan y una sincera bienvenida a nuestras nuevas familias que se unen a nosotros este año académico. ¡Con gran emoción y anticipación nos embarcamos juntos en este viaje, lleno de infinitas posibilidades y nuevas oportunidades de crecimiento y éxito!
Al comenzar este nuevo año escolar, mi prioridad es asegurar que cada estudiante se sienta valorado, apoyado y empoderado para alcanzar su máximo potencial. Estoy comprometida a fomentar un entorno inclusivo y equitativo donde se celebre la diversidad y se reconozcan las fortalezas únicas de cada individuo. Juntos, continuaremos dando forma a nuestra cultura "3-Be" basada en la seguridad, la responsabilidad y el respeto, preparando a nuestros estudiantes no solo para el éxito académico sino también para convertirse en ciudadanos globales compasivos y responsables.
El personal de Palms se compromete a preparar a su estudiante para la universidad y más allá, equipándolo con habilidades académicas y de vida esenciales. Este año, estamos más comprometidos que nunca a fomentar un ambiente de aprendizaje positivo y de apoyo a través de nuestro programa de Intervenciones y Apoyos para el Comportamiento Positivo (PBIS). En Palms, creemos que las expectativas de comportamiento y una cultura escolar positiva son clave para crear un ambiente seguro y respetuoso, donde todos puedan prosperar. PBIS seguirá estando a la vanguardia de nuestros esfuerzos para promover el buen comportamiento, el aprendizaje socioemocional y un sentido de comunidad entre nuestros estudiantes y el personal.
